Any electrical or sound equipment must comply with Australian Standards and be within test date.
Any flammable materials must be fireproofed, and decorations must not damage the Venue and be removed at the end of the hire period.
Our venue has state of the art sound proofing. However, this is only effective if all the doors are kept closed. Once the guests have arrived, you must actively look to keep the doors closed for the entire duration of the event.
General noise restrictions do apply, and you must follow PYW’s directions regarding noise levels. Excessive noise especially outside the venue and in the carpark that disturbs neighbours or breaches regulations may result in fines or loss of the Security Bond.
Between the hours of 12:00AM and 5:00AM, monitoring of the sound levels must occur every hour on the hour. This is a simple procedure, and PYW staff will show you how to do this.
