Pre-event
Set up at a designated doorway that will serve as the sole entrance and exit point for the event. Ensure you have a confirmed guest list organised alphabetically by name. It is advisable to print the guest list on multiple sheets and have chaperones equipped with highlighters to assist with guest management.
Doors Open
The guest check-in process begins at the party's designated start time. Security personnel will verify each guest's ID and match their name to the guest list. Once verified, the guest's name will be crossed off the list. A chaperone will then place a wristband on the guest's wrist before they enter the venue.
Internal Doors Close
At this point, when the majority of guests have entered, the internal doors should be closed for increased security and to amp up the music. It is suggested that this also serves as the cut-off time for temporary exiting.
External Doors Close
At this point, all guests have arrived. Once the external doors are closed, the internal doors can be opened. It is recommended that this time also serves as the cut-off time for entering the venue.
Post-event
As the event concludes, it is time to round out the night and send the guests home. Both doors should be opened, and provide a bin for discarding wristbands and water bottles for departing guests. It is essential that guests are in an orderly state and assisted by chaperones, with security guiding the traffic flow through the complex.
